KRUMHOLTZ KICKS HOLLYWOOD TO CURB
DAVID KRUMHOLTZ is hitting the brakes on Hollywood after 34 years, saying he’s “frustrated, fed up, fried” and needs an “indefinite break” from acting. The Santa Clause and Oppenheimer star, 48, revealed he “sent the definitive email” putting his career on hold, admitting a “huge wave of relief” followed.
Krumholtz blasted an industry he says now demands actors “brand” themselves online for “likes and follows” just to chase convention bookings, ads and shrinking paychecks. “Exploitative art isn’t art,” he wrote. He argued artists deserve a fair share when their work helps bosses profit.
Though he insists he’s “not quitting entirely,” Krumholtz says he’ll stop begging for parts and hopes to inspire kids through motivational speaking instead as he searches for a higher calling.
TENNIS STAR'S COCAINE SHAME
NICK KYRGIOS’ once-high-flying tennis career hit the net after the combustible Aussie revealed he tested positive for cocaine at a June tournament in Mallorca and was slapped with a provisional suspension. The 2022 Wimbledon finalist, now ranked a shocking 919th after wrist and knee injuries, confessed he made a “huge mistake” and said the pain of possibly facing the end of his career left him feeling “helpless and alone.”
But this is only the latest storm cloud over Kyrgios, 31, whose headline-grabbing past includes ugly on-court meltdowns, crude trash talk, a messy breakup and an assault case in which his guilty plea was thrown out. The troubled star says the scandal is a “wake up call” as he steps away to get himself right.
KIRK CAMERON'S BIBLICAL APOLOGY
Born-again ‘80s sitcom star KIRK CAMERON says filming one scene in the film Fireproof left him so rattled he “apologized to God” after filming it! The Growing Pains alum, 55, revisited the 2008 Christian drama in a YouTube video and cringed at footage of himself yelling at his onscreen wife, played by ERIN BETHEA. Cameron, married to former costar CHELSEA NOBLE since 1991, admitted he wonders what his kids think when seeing him “playing married to some other woman” and screaming.
“I’ve never talked like that to my wife, to their mom,” he said. The Left Behind actor called the scene “super uncomfortable,” insisting he believes “you’re to honor your wife,” and joked his sons “would drop me” if he ever spoke to Noble that way today.
GILLIAN'S SECRET LADY LOVE
X-Files star GILLIAN ANDERSON is lifting the lid on a hidden teenage romance she says once felt “secretive and illicit and wrong.” The actress, 58, revealed one of her first relationships was with “an older girl in high school” after moving from London to Grand Rapids, Mich.
Anderson said the pair “had to hide,” and that a later boyfriend dumped her when he found out. “I definitely felt I didn’t have the language for it,” she recalled, admitting she once viewed relationships with women as “temporary.” The Emmy winner, now linked to The Crown creator PETER MORGAN, said her life partner “happens to be male,” but she’d feel the same if it were a woman. Anderson said her younger choices were “freaking people out” then.

Major League Baseball icon TOMMY JOHN, whose name may be better known than his on-field accomplishments, died at 83. The lefthander, who won 288 games in the bigs, became better known for a revolutionary elbow surgery that was named for him and has saved the careers of SHOHEI OHTANI, JUSTIN VERLANDER, JASON DEGROM, and hundreds more. He starred for the Yankees, White Sox, Dodgers and other teams.
Director BRETT RATNER announced there will be two sequels to Melania, his documentary about First Lady MELANIA TRUMP. The January release is the highest-grossing film in its category this year, at $16.7 million worldwide.
How I Met Your Mother star JOSH RADNOR, 52, says members of the sitcom’s cast are “not even a little bit” close these days. He admits he and costar JASON SEGEL text “every once in a while” but haven’t seen each other in “a really long time.” He also spoke at length with NEIL PATRICK HARRIS on his podcast and they had “an interesting conversation about some of the tension” they had while working on the show, which ran from 2005 to 2014. However, Josh says he still has “love” for them all.
