Eddie Murphy's 3-Way Bombshell, Rosamund Pike's Bond Blunder, Teresa Giudice's Truce Twist & Calum Worthy's Creepy AI Shocker
Plus, Brady Bunch nostalgia goes off the rails & Hollywood reels from deaths, diagnoses & divorce whispers
Hollywood has officially lost the plot: Eddie Murphy’s confessing to a missed 3-way with Yul Brynner, Rosamund Pike is reliving her hairy Bond disaster, Teresa Giudice is ending a feud older than some Housewives, and a former Disney darling is resurrecting dead relatives with AI.
Meanwhile, L.A. wants the Brady Bunch house treated like Mount Vernon. Buckle up – Hollywood 411 by KEEPING TABS is here, and this week’s chaos is certifiably unhinged.
DID YUL WANT A 3-WAY WITH EDDIE?
EDDIE MURPHY’s got a whopper of a story about the late screen icon YUL BRYNNER - he says the King and I star, then 62, invited him to make it with his wife! Young rising star Eddie turned down breaking the Ten Commandments with the biblical flick’s pharaoh – and now wishes he hadn’t! It was 1983 and Eddie recalls:
“My 21st birthday party... at Studio 54. Yul Brynner, from The Ten Commandments, he was with his wife, and he was like, ‘How would you like to go back to my apartment with my wife and I and party?’”
Eddie says he didn’t realize the extent of the older star’s offer and nixed it, replying “Nah, I’m cool.” But years later, “I thought back on it... I was like - party? His wife was smiling. I was like, ‘Did he want me to go f”k his wife?’”
Thinking back, the SNL legend says: “Now I wish I would’ve went. The story would end better if... Yeah, I went back to Yul Brynner’s and f**ked his wife. He was watching me....” Eddie still doesn’t get it. Maybe Yul wanted to join in!
BRADY BUNCH HOME IS A MONUMENT!
We knew L.A. was tacky, but now the showbiz city’s going overboard with goofy plans to turn the ‘60s ranch-style house from TV’s classic The Brady Bunch into a landmark. Yes, while Virginia has GEORGE WASHINGTON’s home in Mount Vernon, and Tennessee has ELVIS PRESLEY’s mansion in Memphis, L.A. bigwigs look to make the Bradys’ ho-hum home, filmed during the sitcom’s run from 1969 to 1974, a historical-cultural monument.
“That show would not be the show without that house,” argues Adrian Scott Fine, head of the Los Angeles Conservancy. Fine argues that the house means a lot to fans.
“It feels like stepping back into your childhood, it’s a place that feels good to so many people.” Currently, the pad is owned by superfan TINA TRAHAN, who bought it for $3.2 million.
ROSAMUND’S BAD JAMES BOND SCENE
Screen stunner ROSAMUND PIKE is a showbiz veteran at 46, but the Gone Girl beauty is haunted by her most embarrassing acting moment when she was just 21, and playing an evil seductress with super-hunk PIERCE BROSNAN in the 2002 James Bond epic Die Another Day.
“I was doing a love scene ... my first ... and I had all this modesty stuff... they tape up your boobs and tape every bit with this kind of double-sided sticky tape. We came apart from this clinch, and I looked down to check these sticky things... and they were covered in hair. I was like, ‘Oh my God, I’ve waxed Pierce Brosnan’s chest with my boob tape!’”
But the truth wasn’t so painful. The hair was “the furry rugs that we were [on]” and NOT “Pierce’s chest hair.”
HOUSEWIVES FEUD ENDS AFTER 15 YEARS
Reality babe TERESA GIUDICE can really hold a grudge - The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was on the outs with baby brother JOE GORGA for 15 years! But enough was enough as the 53-year-old jailbird fraudster and her 51-year-old sibling finally buried the hatchet.
“We have all gotten together. I’m really grateful and... thankful,” she recently revealed after she and her hubby, LUIS RUELAS, were spotted hugging Joe at a BravoCon event. As for Joe’s better half, wife MELISSA GORGA, 46, also a RHONJ star, spouts that she’s “relieved” they’ve ended their “dark feud, saying: “It’s been too long - too much.”
She adds there might even be a get-together din-din in the future. As far as what started the bad blood - mum’s the word.
DISNEY KID’S SPOOKY APP
CALUM WORTHY has gone from a clean-cut kid on Disney’s Austin & Ally sitcom to launching his own creep show. The 34-year-old presented a video ad for his app that lets folks talk to AI images of their dead kin. The ad shows a pregnant gal talking with her “mom” on a video call and then leaps in time to show the mother, looking the same age, connecting with her grandson at points in his life through adulthood.
At the end, the “mother-grandma” is revealed as an Al clone created from an actual 3-minute video of her. At the end, Calum says: “What if the loved ones we’ve lost could be part of our future? At 2wai, we’re building a living archive.. one story at a time.” Creepy, huh?
DEATHS, SPLIT RUMORS ... AND MORE!
Beloved folk singer TODD SNIDER died on Nov. 14 at age 59 from pneumonia, according to his publicist and family. But questions swirled around his curious death when almost two weeks earlier, his record label canceled his shows and said he sustained “severe injuries as the victim of a violent assault outside of his hotel” in Salt Lake City, Utah. But cops determined the Just Like Old Times singer was likely alone on his tour bus and fell, hitting his head.
Grey’s Anatomy star JAMES PICKENS JR. wasn’t shocked to learn he’s battling prostate cancer. “Prostate cancer has run through my family,” notes the 71-year-old. Adding his dad and several uncles “had it, l would have been surprised if I hadn’t gotten it.” The good news, he says: No one in his family “has succumbed to it.”
A mixed buzz is flying about the state of 44-year-old comic AMY SCHUMER’s marriage to chef CHRIS FISCHER, 45, dad of her 6-year-old son, GENE. One source says “they’re working through normal issues couples have” and are “committed” to the marriage. Meanwhile, a friend insists “Amy is 100 percent getting divorced. She got skinny. She is over it.” The pal notes the Trainwreck actress “deleted” her hubby from Instagram, he’s “mostly out of the house” and their two homes are listed. Even worse, the source claims Chris doesn’t “get her jokes.”
