Tony Romo’s latest drive came to a screeching halt.
Newly obtained bodycam footage shows the former NFL quarterback arguing with Wisconsin deputies before refusing a preliminary breath test during his DUI arrest, KEEPING TABS can reveal.
After a July 23 traffic stop, Romo questioned why he was being investigated, asking, “Because I’m coming from a golf course, you think I’m drunk?” Deputies said they noticed red, glassy eyes, the odor of alcohol and found several miniature liquor bottles before asking him to perform field sobriety tests.
When officers requested a breath test, Romo fired back, “We’re not doing that. I’ve heard from all the lawyers, don’t ever do that.” After refusing, he asked, “Did I pass this test?” Instead, deputies put him in handcuffs.
Looks like this round ended well over par.

“And that’s when I knew something was wrong,” he recalled. “I just saw blood everywhere and the window was open.”
Patrick then found 5-year-old Cora, 8-month-old Callan and 3-year-old Dawson with exercise bands around their necks before making the desperate 911 call, where he could be heard shouting, “She killed the kids!”
The emotional testimony left the courtroom shaken from start to finish.
