EXCLUSIVE: Dolly Was 'Drowning in Grief' Without Husband Before Death
Dolly Parton lost her rock – and insiders say the sparkle went with him.
The late country icon was reportedly “drowning in grief” after husband Carl Dean died in March 2025, ending their nearly 60-year marriage.
“Carl’s death knocked the wind right out of her. She’s trying to rally herself, but most days she looks lost,” one source claimed. Friends reportedly noticed Dolly wasn’t eating properly or keeping up with her usual health routines, while she admitted losing Carl was “a big adjustment.”
Still, Dolly kept his memory close until her own death at 80, writing: “He will always be the star of my life story.”
Dolly could put heartbreak into a song better than anyone – but losing Carl was one heartbreak she couldn’t sing away before her death on Tuesday.
EXCLUSIVE: Trump Warns Kennedy Center Could Go Broke Over Name Removal
Donald Trump’s name game could cost the Kennedy Center big.
The administration claims the venue could face financial disaster if Trump isn’t properly recognized, warning “donors to flee, financial contributions to dry up, and structural rehabilitation to stop.”
But there’s a twist: internal records reportedly show finances already tanked after Trump took over – and worsened after his name went up.
Revenue projections plunged from $220 million to $124 million, with one insider calling it an “absolute fiscal cliff.”
Trump’s team is now pushing other tributes, including a “President Donald J. Trump Plaza.”
Talk about putting a price on name recognition.
911 Call Reveals Arizona Dad's Death Before Prison Surrender
A horrifying case has ended with one final, chilling 911 call.
Arizona dad Christopher Scholtes, 38, took his own life just hours before he was due to report to prison for the hot-car death of his two-year-old daughter, Parker.
The family nanny discovered Scholtes inside his car in the garage and frantically told dispatchers: “I found the dad in his car... I think he’s dead,” before adding, “There’s no pulse... he’s dead.”
Scholtes had accepted a plea deal after leaving Parker trapped in a sweltering car while he drank beer, played video games and searched adult websites.
The medical examiner ruled Scholtes died from carbon monoxide suffocation.
Ghislaine's Conviction Appeal Rejected Over 'New Evidence'
Ghislaine Maxwell just took another legal L.
Jeffrey Epstein’s former lover has failed in her latest bid to overturn her 2021 s-x-trafficking conviction and 20-year prison sentence after representing herself in federal court.
U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer torched the 64-year-old’s arguments as “meritless” and “frivolous,” declaring her petition “falls very far from the mark.”
Maxwell claimed newly released Epstein files and alleged secret agreements justified another look at her case – but the judge said the material actually “incriminates her or reinforces” previous rulings.
It’s the latest blow for Maxwell after another judge rejected her attempt to stop more Epstein documents from becoming public, while the Senate unanimously opposed any presidential pardon or clemency.
For Maxwell, the escape routes just keep getting slammed shut.
EXCLUSIVE: JD Critic Sues Secret Service Over Event Ban Claims
JD Vance has landed in one seriously catty court fight.
Amanda McGonigle, creator of the viral CatsOnACouch accounts, is suing the Secret Service and Trump officials, claiming she was blocked from Vance events over posts mocking the veep.
McGonigle says officials confronted her at a May event and told her: “We know where you stand.”
Her response? “It is a cat account; this is silly.”
The Secret Service denies political views determine access, and a judge rejected McGonigle’s emergency request after the government said she could attend a future event.
But her First Amendment lawsuit is still scratching away.
