EXCLUSIVE: The Dark Regret That Haunted Redford Until the End
Robert Redford passed away at 89 with a glittering Hollywood legacy – but insiders say he was plagued by one devastating regret.
The Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid star never got over his mother Martha Hart Redford’s tragic death at just 41, before he could thank her for keeping him on the straight and narrow when he was a wild teen.
“She had a hemorrhage tied to a blood disorder she got after losing twin girls at birth, 10 years after I was born,” Redford once explained. “She wanted a family so badly, she got pregnant again,” he added – admitting her death “seemed so unfair.”
“I took [her] for granted… My regret is that she passed away before I could thank her,” Redford confessed.
And her loss colored his entire future: “[My family] feared I would never amount to anything… I wanted to prove them wrong.” Unfortunately, it was a heartbreak no Hollywood success could ever heal.
Stone-Cold & Staring: Kirk’s Alleged Killer Shows ‘No Remorse’ in Court
Charlie Kirk’s accused assassin, Tyler Robinson, made his first chilling court appearance yesterday – standing stone-faced in a bulletproof vest as prosecutors read out charges including aggravated murder, obstruction, witness tampering and more.
The 22-year-old former Utah State student was deemed “indigent” and given a public defender, with Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray vowing to seek the death penalty. He blasted Kirk’s murder as “an American tragedy,” saying: “Charlie Kirk was murdered while engaging in one of our most sacred and cherished American rights… the free exchange of ideas.”
Robinson’s own mother, Amber, tipped off cops after spotting him in an FBI photo, telling investigators her son had become “more political,” “more gay and trans-rights oriented,” and was dating roommate Lance Twiggs.
Before the shooting, Robinson accused Kirk of “spreading hate” – and later hinted to family he pulled the trigger. His next court date is set for September 29.
EXCLUSIVE: Butler Lifts Lid on Andrew’s Struggles 3 Years After Queen Elizabeth’s Passing
Prince Andrew’s world is crumbling without his late mother Queen Elizabeth to shield him, royal insiders say… leaving the disgraced Duke of York more isolated than ever.
In The Royal Insider, ex–royal butler Paul Burrell exposes how Andrew, 65, depended on his mother – calling him the Queen’s “favorite son” who constantly leaned on her to save him from scandal.
“The Queen was always there for her son to save him from himself and from his mistakes… But now she is gone, what next? The future for Prince Andrew looks bleak,” Burrell writes.
Once bailed out financially and reputationally by the monarch, Andrew now faces life without his “only protector.” “Without the Queen’s protection, Andrew has no shield… He is frozen out,” a source said.
Burrell warned bluntly: “Now she is gone, there is no one left to protect him.”
Ex-Associate: Maddie’s Kidnap Was Silent — and Brueckner's to Blame
Christian Brueckner, the prime suspect in Madeleine McCann’s disappearance, was “100 percent involved,” a former associate sensationally claimed in a new bombshell TV interview.
Helge Busching told ITV News: “I want Christian go behind bars for this, for the case of Madeleine McCann. This was him, I am 100% sure.” He added, “He can say I am innocent. I know what he was doing, I saw it with my proper eyes. I know he’s a dangerous man.”
Busching recalled a chilling conversation at a Spanish festival just a year after Maddie vanished: “I told him I don’t understand how somebody can rob little children from a hotel. He told me: ‘She was not screaming.’”
Brueckner, already serving time for rape, is set to walk free September 17 – sparking outrage as Busching warned, “Now I know there will come out a really dangerous man.”
Luigi Walks Tall as Judge Dumps NY Charges in CEO Assassination Case
Luigi Mangione just scored a major legal win after two terrorism charges were tossed out. The alleged assassin of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, however, still faces New York charges of second-degree murder and could face the death penalty federally.
Judge Gregory Carro dismissed the terrorism counts, ruling the law “cannot be interpreted so broadly so as to cover individuals or groups who are not normally viewed as terrorists.”
He explained: “The defendant's targeted killing of one individual – although abhorrent and despicable – is not comparable. While the defendant was clearly expressing an animus toward UHC, and the health care industry generally, it does not follow that his goal was to intimidate or coerce a civilian population.”
Luigi, 27, made his first state court appearance since February, greeted by chanting supporters and activists carrying “Free Luigi” signs. Fans have also raised more than $1 million for his defense.
Florida Woman, 35, Receives 2-year Prison Term for Raping Stepson
A Florida nurse once trusted to heal is now branded a predator after being sentenced to just two years behind bars for sexually abusing her teenage stepson.
Alexis Von Yates, 35, of Ocala, was caught in the act when her husband came home early and found her and his 15-year-old son naked on the couch. The boy’s mother ripped into her in court, calling Von Yates an “incestuous pedophile” and a “coward” who “systemically manipulated, groomed, and sexually abused a child.” She fumed: “There is nowhere you can go to escape the truth. For the rest of your life the world will see you for exactly what you are.”
Once facing sexual battery charges, Von Yates pled to a lesser count and got two years in prison plus probation. Prosecutors revealed she lured the boy by vaping THC, playing video games, then telling him she was “horny.” She later tried to justify it by claiming he “looked like his father when he was younger.”
Her twisted betrayal has left the family shattered.
Knives Out for Bumbling ‘Keystone Kash’ — Even Bondi’s Had Enough
Kash Patel is on the ropes – insiders claim he’s bungled FBI leadership so badly even A.G. Pam Bondi “can’t stand him.”
Sources told Fox News “the White House, Bondi, Blanche have no confidence in Kash. Pam (Bondi) in particular cannot stand him. (Todd) Blanche either.” Though all parties denied the feud, the heat is on: Patel faces back-to-back grillings before Congress over his botched handling of the Charlie Kirk assassination manhunt, which ended only after the suspect’s father turned him in.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s allies are already lining up a backup plan, with former Missouri AG Andrew Bailey set to join Deputy Director Dan Bongino at the FBI amid what critics call Patel’s “sh--show” performance.
On social media, the knives are fully out: “Kash Patel is an incompetent fool who needs to step down,” blasted one user, while another fumed, “Pam Bondi…cannot stand him.”
