EXCLUSIVE: Sam's Heartbreaking Rush to Finish His Memoir Before Death at 78
Sam Neill knew time might not be on his side – so he made sure to tell his story.
The beloved Jurassic Park star, who died at 78, revealed he rushed to finish his memoir, Did I Ever Tell You This?, after being diagnosed with aggressive blood cancer and fearing he was running out of time.
“The truth was, I didn’t know how long I had to live. What I had was aggressive. I thought I’d better scribble down some stuff before I shuffle,” Neill said in 2024.
A source said the book “was born out of uncertainty” and became a lasting gift to his family, friends, and fans.
In the end, his greatest goodbye came in his own words.
EXCLUSIVE: Judge Sanctions Trump Lawyers Over 'Collusive' $10B IRS Lawsuit
President Trump’s $10 billion lawsuit just got hammered in court.
A federal judge sanctioned attorneys representing Trump after ruling the lawsuit against the IRS and Treasury Department was “collusive,” “non-adversarial,” and filed for an “improper purpose.”
The judge found there was “never a genuine case or controversy,” accusing the lawsuit of being used to legitimize a proposed settlement that included a government apology and a $1.776 billion “Anti-Weaponization Fund.”
The ruling also blocks Trump, Donald Jr., Eric Trump, and the Trump Organization from relying on the disputed settlement in future legal proceedings.
Looks like the judge wasn't buying what Team Trump was selling.
EXCLUSIVE: Taylor's $2M Donation Sparks Praise as CEO Slams Haters
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding gift hit all the right notes – just not for everyone.
Before tying the knot, the newlyweds donated $26 million to charities, including $2 million to Education Through Music.
While critics claimed the billionaire superstar should have given more, the nonprofit’s CEO slammed the backlash as “cynical.”
“What she has done for people who otherwise would not have the services that the money allows them to provide far more important than the motive, the way it was done, when it was done,” Janice Weinman said.
The donation will help bring music programs to underserved New York City schools.
Teen Murder Suspect Beaten to Death in Mississippi Jail on Camera
A Mississippi jail became the scene of another deadly crime.
Eighteen-year-old murder suspect Mielun Butler died just two days after his arrest after he was allegedly stomped to death inside the Hinds County Raymond Detention Center. The attack was reportedly caught on video and quickly spread online.
An autopsy found Butler died from blunt force trauma to the head. “It appeared he had shoe prints all over his head,” Hinds County Coroner Jeremiah Howard said.
Officials suspect gang involvement, while critics are demanding answers over how such a brutal attack happened behind bars.
Now the jail is under the microscope.
Lindsey's Sister Chosen to Fill Senate Seat as Trump Critics Fume
Lindsey Graham’s Senate seat is staying in the family.
Just two days after the longtime senator’s sudden death, South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster appointed Graham’s sister, Darline Graham Nordone, to serve out the remainder of his term after President Trump publicly backed the move.
Nordone, who has never held elected office, was one of her brother’s closest confidantes and will serve until January while voters choose a permanent replacement.
Not everyone applauded the pick, with critics accusing Republicans of treating the Senate like a family inheritance and claiming Trump “got his way.”
Looks like the succession battle started before the mourning ended.
