Timothy Busfield says one recording could change everything.
Before he was indicted on four felony child sex abuse charges, the actor told the grand jury he had a recording in which the children said he “never touched them.”
“I also have a recording of the children saying I never touched them, if you’d like to hear that,” Busfield testified under oath, claiming it would help “exonerate” him. We could not verify the recording or its contents.
Prosecutors said the boys later made additional allegations, but Busfield insisted: “I believe they were coached.”
He has pleaded not guilty – and now says the recording could be his biggest defense.
