In one message, Read allegedly wrote: “I know where your speech will be. Already mapped out roofs around,” while another declared: “Can we sh-- him in Kansas please I will myself.”
Investigators traced the account to Read, who faces up to five years in prison if convicted. Authorities have not established whether he surveyed rooftops or possessed weapons.

The former Fox News host allegedly turned to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, media mogul Rupert Murdoch and Trump ally Tom Barrack for help after corruption allegations surfaced.

Kohberger’s Lawyers Want Judge Off Post-Conviction Relief Case for Crying
Bryan Kohberger’s legal team is making a courtroom move, and it’s all about the judge!
His attorney, Gregory Rauch, wants Judge Steven Hippler removed from Kohberger’s post-conviction relief case, arguing the judge’s comments and emotional display during sentencing raised questions about impartiality.
Hippler had questioned whether anyone could trust Kohberger’s account, asking, “How can anyone ever be assured that what he speaks is the truth?”
Rauch also cited the judge wiping away tears, arguing the “cumulative appearance of partiality” was concerning.
Kohberger pleaded guilty to killing four University of Idaho students in 2025 and received four consecutive life sentences without parole.

Arkansas Man Found Shot & Stuffed in Barrel Identified — as Murder Remains Unsolved
A decades-old Lake Mead mystery has finally put a name to its victim — but the killer remains at large.
Edward Lelburian Jackson, who was in his 50s when he was killed, was identified after boaters discovered his skeletal remains inside a barrel in 2022.
Investigators used DNA genealogy testing to match him to relatives, who said they hadn’t seen him since the early 1980s.
Jackson died from a gunshot to the head, but how he ended up in Las Vegas remains unclear.
Despite speculation about organized crime, police say there’s no evidence supporting the theory. “The case will never be closed until we solve it,” Lieutenant Robert Price assured.

Mariah Carey just hit a high note in her family courtroom feud!
A judge rejected estranged brother Morgan Carey’s attempt to add fresh emotional distress and defamation claims to his lawsuit over her 2020 memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey.
Morgan alleged his superstar sister called him her “ex-brother” and tried linking her to a mysterious YouTube documentary posted in 2024.
But the court found insufficient evidence connecting Mariah to the video or supporting his new allegations. Morgan was allowed to amend parts of his complaint, though.
