Kim Kardashian Silences North Online, Jenny McCarthy's Bedroom Confession, Gwyneth Paltrow's Smoking Slip-up & More
Plus Tiger Woods' ex ties the knot & Hollywood’s latest lawsuits.
The veneer of celebrity perfection splinters once more – as a billionaire mogul clamps down on her daughter’s digital life, a former Playboy siren lifts the curtain on marital misfires, a scandal-scarred socialite claims long-delayed happiness, and Hollywood power players face messy reckonings both personal and legal.
Add in wellness empires flirting with hypocrisy, headline-grabbing lawsuits, surprise hookups, and familiar stars confronting very unglamorous realities, and the takeaway is clear: behind the gloss, celebrity life is still loud, leaky, and relentlessly complicated.
Hollywood 411 by KEEPING TABS has the details… let’s dive in.
MAMMA MIA! KIM PULLS PLUG ON NORTH
With all her businesses and public appearances, KIM KARDASHIAN still has time to be a hands-on mom, so when daughter NORTH, 12, started getting alarming stuff on her new Instagram site, momma shut it down!
British celebrity tattletale ROB SHUTER reveals North’s account “mysteriously vanished” shortly after opening. “Kim didn’t like what she saw,” a source told the columnist. “Some of the content, comments and attention were worrying, and she felt it wasn’t safe for North yet.” Another insider says: “The account was fine at first, but Kim noticed posts that made her pause. She’s very hands-on and protective - this was her call.”
North’s site, and whether she should have it, would likely be an issue between Kim and ex-hubby KANYE WEST, North’s dad. “Kim and Kanye have very different ideas about social media and privacy,” says a pal. “Kim is all about safety and control - Kanye is more laid-back. It’s always been a balancing act.”
But the internet can pose a danger to kids. Notes an insider close to the famous family: “North’s age is a big factor. She’s only 12, and Kim didn’t want her exposed to the pressures and scrutiny of Instagram just yet.”
PLAYMATE JENNY'S BEDROOM PROBLEM
Former Playboy Playmate JENNY McCARTHY is still crazy about her TV cop hubby, DONNIE WAHLBERG, even after 11 years of marriage, but the 53-year-old knockout admits the 56-year-old actor does have a bedroom flaw - he snores loudly.
“I wouldn’t call it a problem, but challenges,” she says. Her solution: the Masked Singer panelist builds a wall of pillows between them and “I wear these giant headphones” that play southing sounds of ocean waves.
If that doesn’t work, she’ll just nudge him. The lovebirds also have a naughty secret to spice up their marriage. “If someone has a Christmas party, we’re going to find the basement bathroom, take advantage of the moment,” she reveals. Adds her hubby: “We work at keeping it hot... That’s how you keep the spark alive.”
TIGER'S EX-GALPAL TIES THE KNOT
TIGER WOODS former mistress RACHEL UCHITEL is hoping the third times a charm after tying the knot with biz bigwig DAN DONOVAN, founder of event management service Stratoscope, on New Year’s Eve. The 50-year-old hottie previously had two failed walks down the aisle with former jock MATT HAHN and childhood friend STEVEN EHRENKRANZ, but that was only part of her bad luck.
Her first fiancé was killed on 9/11 and then eight years later in 2009, she was outed as one of golf great Tiger’s mistresses, leading to his divorce from baby mama ELIN NORDEGREN. Now with new hubby Dan, thrilled Rachel says, “From losing a fiancé to having a lot of terrible luck with men and making bad choices... I finally have my own love story.”
WELLNESS GWYN WANTS A BUTT
Actress GWYNETH PALTROW has made buckets of bucks hawking so-called wellness stuff on her Goop website, but she confesses she really misses her old, dirty habit - cigarettes.
The Oscar winner recalls the good ole days in the early 2000s when pufling butts went hand in hand with the new health movement. “That was a great phase where it was like cigarettes and tofu with the brown rice and the seaweed,” the 53-year-old recalls, adding: “I decided when I’m like 87 I’m going to start smoking again.” But fans didn’t agree. One noted that smoking is “on the rise, boooo.” Another kicked Gwen in the goop, saying: “Can’t wait for them to talk about how Gwyneth cons women into spending thousands of dollars on products that are known to be complete scams.”
WILL & GRACE STAR'S DIVORCE PAYOUT
What’s being married for nearly 27 years and with a grown kid worth? It you’re JANET HOLDEN, the now ex-wife of Will & Grace star ERIC McCORMACK, it adds up to $10Gs a month, or $120,000 a year, for the next nine years.
That’s what the judge ordered Eric, now starring in the TV miniseries Hell Motel, to pay the mom of their son, FINNIGAN, 23. The payout is based on Eric’s current $92,000 monthly earnings compared to the $23,000 a month she pulls down as an assistant TV director. The property split includes Janet getting an L.A. home, two condos and the right to use their home in Vancouver, Canada, for five years.
Eric, 62, will now squat in their beach house.
COMEDY ACTS, LAWSUITS… AND MORE!
Acid-tongued funnygal NIKKI GLASER has roasted the most famous celebs including TOM BRADY, HARRISON FORD and NICOLE KIDMAN, but one star she’ll never joke about is JULIA ROBERTS! Nikki says audiences like to see the famous taken down a peg or two, but “you cannot make fun of America’s Sweetheart.” She learned that lesson at a comedy club where she mocked the Pretty Woman and was clobbered by boos.
Many men will boast - and lie - about having a large penis, but influencer HALEY BAYLEE is getting sued for revealing that her ex-hubby, former Minnesota Vikings lineman MATT KALIL, was too big! He says her “degrading” comments subjected him to “unwanted attention and invasive commentary from the public.” He seeks S75Gs in damages.
BRYAN CRANSTON made his bones playing sinister drug kingpin Walter White in Breaking Bad, but now he’s in hot water for suggesting that he beat out STEVE ZAHN for the role. When Zahn heard about it, he jokingly snapped: “Oh really? I think he’s lying! He’s in London right now doing a play, and I’m shooting in London - so I’m going to go talk to him.” Uh-oh.
HENRY WINKLER is headed back to TV, but don’t expect his old Happy Days biker Fonzie. In the planned NBC show Last Chance Lawyer, the 80-year-old actor is slated to play an attorney who fights for the underdog.
