OWN STREAMER SNUBS MEGHAN
DUCHESS MEGHAN’s controversial Emmy nod may have given her a reason to celebrate, but Netflix seems to be taking a much cooler approach. The streamer rolled out a glossy “Netflix Emmy Collection” to spotlight its 2026 nominees, and With Love, Meghan was nowhere to be seen - awkward, considering the now-canceled series got a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lifestyle Program. The omission is especially noticeable given that even obscure titles got a welcome mat.
Meghan congratulated herself on Instagram, but Netflix has not exactly rushed to join the party. With the show’s weak ratings, brutal reviews and quick cancellation, this latest snub feels less like an oversight and more like a quiet corporate shrug.
JOURNEY ROCKER BASHES BOSS
Journey’s JONATHAN CAIN has taken aim at BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, branding him an “annoying, bitter old man” and accusing him of turning concerts into political sermons. Speaking on The Complete Disaster Network, the popular keyboardist said, “Guys like Bruce Springsteen should shut up,” adding he tries to keep politics out of his own music.
Cain, who said Born in the U.S.A. was “a kind of a diss toward our country,” also complained that celebrity activism is “a bad look.” His comments came after MICK JAGGER made similar complaints about rock stars lecturing audiences. Cain has released a patriotic song called Winds of Freedom, which he says sings the praises of the United States. “If anybody’s got a problem with me, America and Jesus, then bring it.”
RODGERS’ FAMILY REUNION
AARON RODGERS is reversing field and making a pass at family reconciliation after a decade-long estrangement. The Steelers quarterback posted an Instagram carousel showing a rare bonding session with his parents and brother LUKE, plus a strangely loving huddle with niece EVIE and nephew JACK - whom he had never met. He and Luke even built a kids’ toy together, because nothing says emotional healing like assembling plastic furniture.
Rodgers, 42, captioned it “Another bonding week #fam,” tagged “Planet Earth,” and moved on. Missing, of course, were brother JORDAN and wife JOJO FLETCHER, because this family reunion still came with selective seating. Rodgers previously aired his grievances in the docuseries Enigma, so yes, the peace offering is real - or at least Instagram-real.
SCHUMER CROP-DUSTS THE CAPITAL
Gasbag Senate Minority Leader CHUCK SCHUMER quite audibly let one rip while slamming President DONALD TRUMP on the Senate floor! During a fiery speech on Iran and the National Defense Authorization Act, the 75-year-old lawmaker aired his grievances and a little bit more on C-SPAN - and, in a twist that really sealed the moment, appeared to suppress a little chuckle afterward. After the senator yielded the aromatic floor, the clip was shared widely online, and conservative commentator MARK KAYE suggested Schumer’s air biscuit created a strong case for term limits on lawmakers.
LEGAL WIN, BABY NEWS... AND MORE!
REBEL WILSON won her defamation battle against CHARLOTTE MACINNES after a Federal Court of Australia judge found the Pitch Perfect star had not caused “serious harm” to her costar with her social media posts. Justice ELIZABETH RAPER ruled Charlotte failed to prove her case and ordered her to pay Rebel’s legal costs. Charlotte claimed Rebel defamed her in posts that implied she walked back a sexual harassment complaint on the set of the film The Deb to further her career.
ESPN commentator RYAN CLARK was cut from the team - while he was still on air. The network broke the news during a broadcast of NFL Live after media inquiries threatened to leak the decision first. ESPN had apparently planned to tell Clark the next morning but opted for the on-air ambush instead. Clark had already fallen out of favor after a heated exchange with PETER SCHRAGER last year, when he dismissed him as “a non-player.” Former NFL safety Clark was reportedly earning more than $2 million a year, making him a prime target for network cuts.
