Read Word-for-Word: New Court Filing Reveals Delays and Drama in Brad Pitt vs. Angelina Jolie Wine War
Pitt pushes for a faster trial while Jolie’s team argues the case is too complex to rush.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s never-ending legal war just hit another snag – and this one could drag things out even longer.
In newly filed court documents, the exes are battling over when their explosive Château Miraval case should finally go to trial – and the breakdown inside the filing shows just how messy things have gotten.
A Battle Over the Clock
At the center of the fight is timing. The trial is currently set for early 2027, but Jolie’s team – along with other defendants – wants to push it to November 2027, arguing the case is too complex and still tangled in global discovery, legal motion, and even appeals that could change who’s involved.
Pitt’s side isn’t having it.
His lawyers say the case has already dragged on for more than four years and are pushing for only a short delay, warning that key evidence is disappearing and witnesses are becoming unavailable.
They even point to one former manager who has died and another potential witness who is too ill to testify.
