Blake Lively’s glamorous haircare empire may be unraveling behind the scenes.

Newly surfaced federal court exhibits tied to the actress’ explosive legal war with Justin Baldoni appear to expose mounting consumer complaints, internal sales concerns and rising returns surrounding her Blake Brown Beauty line sold at Target.

The bombshell filings – submitted May 4, just one day before Lively and Baldoni were originally expected to settle part of their legal battle – allegedly reveal the celebrity-backed brand has suffered a dramatic slowdown after an initially explosive launch in 2024 timed around It Ends With Us.

According to business projections referenced in the filings and industry chatter, Blake Brown Beauty was reportedly expected to generate close to $100 million in its first year.

Instead, insiders now claim sales have dropped sharply – allegedly falling from nearly $20 million early on to roughly $4 million over the following year amid escalating backlash and high product returns.
