How’s it goin’ Radar Substackers…
Ashlyn Walker here… and I’ve got the receipts on a chilling new twist in the Sandra Birchmore murder case.
A former Massachusetts cop accused of killing a young woman he allegedly groomed is now fighting a courtroom battle over medical evidence that could play a crucial role in his federal murder trial.
And the latest filing raises some very interesting questions.
Matthew Farwell‘s defense team is trying to stop prosecutors from introducing previously undisclosed expert opinions from a medical examiner who reviewed evidence surrounding Birchmore’s death.
But here’s the kicker.
According to FBI consultation notes cited in the filing, the medical examiner reportedly found no apparent signs that Birchmore had been manually strangled.
The notes even included this eyebrow-raising observation: “nothing that looks like a manual strangulation.”
And I’ve obtained the November 2 court filing detailing the medical findings, the defense’s objections and the fight over what jurors should be allowed to hear.
I’m sharing the documents below, because this legal showdown is getting complicated – and the details matter.
