Newly surfaced federal court filings show the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star quietly reached a settlement in the explosive $25 million lawsuit connected to the collapse of Girardi Keese – stopping the case just before it was set to head to trial.
The newly filed Notice of Settlement, submitted May 22 in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, states the parties “hereby provide notice to the Court of a settlement reached in this matter” following a May 21 final pretrial conference before Judge Anne Hwang.
The filing further confirms the scheduled trial date had officially been “vacated” and states attorneys intended to submit a “Stipulation for Dismissal Without Prejudice” alongside a “mutual waiver of costs.”
But the newly surfaced filings reveal the legal war had been raging behind the scenes long before the sudden settlement stopped the looming courtroom showdown.
