Trump 'Angry' With Kristi Before Firing 'ICE Barbie'
Kristi Noem may have talked herself right out of a job.
The embattled Homeland Security chief reportedly sealed her fate during a fiery Senate hearing when she claimed Donald Trump personally approved a jaw-dropping $220 million taxpayer-funded ad blitz starring – you guessed it – herself.
Louisiana Senator John Kennedy grilled her over the price tag, asking: “How do you square that with the fact that you have spent $220 million running television advertisements that feature you prominently?” Noem fired back: “Sir, the president tasked me with getting the message out to the country and to other countries with putting commercials out that if they were in the country illegally, that they needed to leave.”
Kennedy wasn’t convinced, replying: “It’s just hard for me to believe… that he would have agreed to that.” Behind the scenes, Trump reportedly insisted he “never knew anything about it.”
And just like that – the ads stayed on TV, but Noem didn’t stay in the job.
'Unknown Substance' Found in Britney's Car During DUI Arrest
Britney Spears’ latest traffic stop just came with an unexpected extra.
Sources say an “unknown substance was found in Britney Spears’ car” when the troubled pop star was arrested in Ventura County on March 4. Police reportedly spotted a “Black BMW sedan in and out of lanes” that was “speeding” before pulling Spears over around 9:30 p.m. She was later taken to the hospital to determine her blood alcohol level.
Sources claim Spears has told people her BAC was 0.06, below California’s 0.08 legal limit. Her manager Cade Hudson called the incident “an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable.”
Insiders also say Spears was “crying a lot” while being processed.
Another night, another controversy for the pop princess.
Savannah Returns to Today During Mom’s Abduction Crisis
Savannah Guthrie made a quiet but emotional return to the Today show studio – though the real story still unfolding is the desperate search for her missing mom.
The NBC star, who has been off the air since Nancy vanished in late January, stopped by the studio on March 5 and was seen warmly hugging colleagues. NBC confirmed: “Savannah Guthrie stopped by the studio this morning to be with and thank her Today colleagues.”
The network added: “While she plans to return to the show on air, she remains focused right now supporting her family and working to help bring Nancy home.”
Nancy disappeared after returning home from dinner on January 31, leaving behind her phone, wallet and keys, with no suspects identified.
Savannah may be back at the studio – but the only headline that matters is bringing Nancy home.
Nick's Grim Life Behind Bars Revealed — 'Sex Talk,' Howling & Freezing Cell
Nick Reiner’s Hollywood life has been replaced with a harsh new reality behind bars.
The accused double-murder suspect – charged with killing his parents Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner – is locked inside Los Angeles’ notorious Twin Towers jail. The 32-year-old is reportedly being held in the mental observation unit. One former inmate said: “There are crazies everywhere.”
They added: “It’s the kind of place you don’t want to spend two minutes in. It makes One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest look like a day spa.”
Food is reportedly “gross” pasta, beans and “lots of mystery meat,” served with plastic “sporks.”
Meanwhile, inmates “constantly scream night and day – they don’t shut up.” From Hollywood comfort to jailhouse chaos… quite the fall.
'Party Mom' Found Guilty in Teen Assault Case — Faces 30 Years
A so-called “Party Mom” who hosted booze-soaked teen parties is now staring down decades behind bars.
Shannon O’Connor, 51, was convicted on 48 charges after prosecutors said she supplied minors with alcohol and helped orchestrate disturbing encounters between intoxicated teens. Authorities said O’Connor provided “vodka and Fireball whiskey” to kids as young as 14.
Prosecutors alleged: “At one party O’Connor handed an underaged teenager a condom and pushed him into a room with an intoxicated minor.” Another incident claimed: “During a New Year’s Eve party with about five 14-year-olds, the defendant watched and laughed as a drunk teen sexually battered a young girl in bed.”
District Attorney Jeff Rosen said: “This defendant not only didn’t protect these children, she endangered their safety, coordinated their sexual assaults, and she tried to get them not to tell.”
Now the party’s over – and O’Connor could face up to 30 years in prison.
Man, 46, Indicted Over Email Death Threats to Trump
Donald Trump’s ever-growing threat list just got another disturbing entry.
A Florida man has been indicted after allegedly sending chilling emails threatening to kill the president. Markus E. Hamlett, 46, was arrested on February 4 and taken to the Santa Rosa County Jail after investigators uncovered the alarming messages sent about a year ago.
But the case took a bizarre twist when Hamlett reportedly told authorities he’d been “sending emails and making phone calls for a year trying to get arrested.”
Officials confirmed: “This case was investigated by the United States Secret Service and the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.”
Hamlett has since appeared before a federal judge in Pensacola, Florida, with his trial set for April 6.
If convicted, he could face up to five years behind bars… proving that sometimes the quickest way to get arrested is simply asking for it.
