TV SIS HASN'T SPOKEN TO ROSEANNE
LAURIE METCALF, who played ROSEANNE BARR’s sister on the hit sitcom Roseanne, says she hasn’t talked to the provocative 73-year-old comic since ABC canned her in 2018 - but denies any bad blood. “There’s nothing controversial,” insists Laurie, 70, now starring on Netflix’s series Big Mistakes. “We just haven’t spoken since we said goodbye at the end of the reboot.”
Roseanne’s hit sitcom was in its ninth year when her career spiraled into a nosediving crash after she sent an outrageous tweet comparing former President BARACK OBAMA’s advisor VALERIE JARRETT, who is Black, to an ape. Slamming her racist comment as “abhorrent” and “repugnant,” ABC bigwigs canceled the sitcom, which was later revived without the trash-talking star. Roseanne has since claimed that “God told [her]” to send the comment.
Meanwhile, the spinoff show, The Conners, starring Roseanne cast members including her TV husband JOHN GOODMAN and Laurie, ran for another seven seasons, and the outspoken funnylady and her former costars lost touch. John also recently confessed he hasn’t talked with his feisty former TV wife for “about seven or eight years,” adding: “I’d rather doubt if she wants to talk to me.”
FRIENDS STILL CASHING IN
The six-member cast of the iconic sitcom Friends were pulling down a whopping $1 million per episode the final two years of its decade-long run that ended in 2004 - and the stars are still raking in $20 million yearly in residuals! LISA KUDROW, who played Phoebe, blabbed about the dough they’re banking 22 years after Friends ended, and believes the show’s continued popularity is deserved.
Following the tragic drug death of castmate MATTHEW PERRY at age 54 in 2023, she notes: “I watched the show again. Before, I only saw what I did wrong or could have done better. But for the first time, I truly appreciated just how great it was.” She says she realizes “there was a genius at work... we will never experience something like that again.”
KHLOE CARING FOR TRISTAN'S DISABLED SIB
Cleveland Cavaliers center TRISTAN THOMPSON, 35, has filed for conservatorship of his mentally and physically disabled 19-year-old brother, AMARI – while bighearted ex-galpal KHLOÉ KARDASHIAN, 41, is helping to care for him along with their two young kids, TRUE, 8, and TATUM, 3.
The teen suffers from Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, a crippling form of childhood-onset epilepsy resulting in multiple seizures that cause permanent brain damage, learning difficulties and other issues, say docs. Khloé, who is watching Amari while Tristan is mostly away during the NBA season, explains: “He is severely disabled ... he can’t walk or talk. Amari has a handful of seizures a day with the type of epilepsy that he has.” Khloé, who stepped in to help after the death of Tristan’s mother, ANDREA, in January 2023, adds that it’s good for her kids to be around Amari.
DANCING WITH WOLVES STAR CAGED FOR LIFE
Dancing With Wolves star NATHAN CHASING HORSE is being tossed in prison for 35 years to life for using his gig as a tribal medicine man to sexually prey on Native American girls and women. The 50-year-old lowlife, who played Smiles a Lot in KEVIN COSTNER’s 1990 epic, was found guilty of crimes against three women. CORENA LEONE-LACROIX says she was 14 when the sex-fiend healer told her the spirits would save her cancer-stricken mother, only if she gave up her virginity. After Chasing Horse sexually assaulted her, he warned that her mom would die if she told. “The life that little girl could have lived has been taken from me forever,” mourns Corena. Chasing Horse, who’s also facing sex charges in Canada, insists he’s innocent.
LOCKED-UP DUGGAR GETS MORE TIME
Sex creep JOSH DUGGAR of 19 Kids and Counting just can’t stay outta trouble. The 38-year-old got another two months, including solitary confinement, tacked onto his 12 ½-year child porn sentence for a rules violation at his Texas federal slammer, reports his cousin AMY DUGGAR KING.
The dad of seven with wife ANNA, 37, was convicted in 2021 of receiving and possessing material of kids in depraved sex situations. Prosecutors say he had pictures and videos showing sexual and sadistic abuse of children, including images of prepubescent kids. In 2015, TLC axed the hit reality show following revelations that Josh had molested girls aged from 12 to 16, including four of his sisters. Prison bigwigs say he will now be released Feb. 2, 2033.

ROGER SWEET, creator of the fantasy hero He-Man, lived up to his character’s toughness - the toy designer passed away at 91 years old. Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, Roger attended Chicago’s Institute of Design and worked for Mattel toys in the ‘70s and ‘80s where he helped dream up the musclebound hero that became a toy sensation and the star of TV shows and movies. His wife of nearly 40 years, MARLENE, says Roger was struggling with dementia when he died.
