SEE THE PHOTOS: Epstein's Failed Suicide Attempt Exposed in Newly Released Records
The chilling details inside the report.
The Epstein files just dropped – and they’re as grim as expected.
Newly released Department of Justice documents include bleak photos of Jeffrey Epstein following a failed suicide attempt weeks before his death. The chilling images come from a July 2019 prison report and show the convicted sex offender lying with his eyes closed, wearing a blue suicide smock, and the noose he used nearby. Guards said they found him “lying in the fetal position” with an orange “homemade fashioned noose” around his neck, half dressed and “breathing heavily.”
When officers tried to wake him, the report states, “he would open his eyes and observe staff… then hurriedly shut his eyes.” A medical exam noted “a circular line of erythema at the base of his neck,” though Epstein “denies having any pain or discomfort.”
Weeks later, he was dead – and the conspiracy chatter hasn’t stopped. One official summed it up simply: “Every night should have that same missing minute.”
